Finding Other Repair Sources Repair Mistakes
As the top indexable tool repair company, we have found many mistakes by other repair companies. For example, recently we found a problem while inspecting a standard 5 inch indexable milling cutter. The previous repair source tapped the screw holes wrong. The holes were tapped at the incorrect angle and this didn't allow the insert to seat properly. The other repair source compensated for their hole angle mistake by moving the insert pockets out of manufacturers original specifications. This made the indexable cutters performance inadequate and made the tool crash.
